Mari and Charley Connolly

Mari and I believe strongly in supporting the Augustinian Friars and their important ministries. We became acquainted with Fr. Don Reilly, O.S.A., former Provincial of the Province of St. Thomas of Villanova, when I chaired the Malvern Prep Board of Trustees. Fr. Don asked me to chair the newly established Development Council for the Province in 2006. He helped me to understand the friars’ financial needs particularly in the area of caring for the elderly and infirm friars. It was an easy decision for us to support the Augustinians in our annual contributions, through the capital campaign to renovate the monastery and through our estate plans.

We owe so much to the friars including the education of our three children at Malvern Prep and Villanova University and our growing number of grandchildren as they mature in school. It is for us a smart investment in the Augustinians today and in the future of Catholic Augustinian education. We are blessed to count so many of the Augustinians as our friends. They care!
